   PEER-REVIEWED SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

The research presented on these pages comes from peer-reviewed scientific journals and published scientific studies. These studies provide the scientific foundation for understanding what researchers have discovered about sound, vibration, frequency and resonance and their effects on the human body, brain and nervous system.

The research presented on the Second Earth Foundation website represents a carefully selected group of peer-reviewed studies chosen to demonstrate the breadth and depth of clinical research involving sound, vibration, frequency, music, resonance, and related interventions. It is not intended to be a complete listing of every clinical study published on each subject, as the full body of research is far too extensive to present in its entirety on individual website pages.

There are many more studies on sound and related therapies that are not included here. The totals below represent the broader body of relevant peer-reviewed clinical research identified through PubMed for each category, with an emphasis on research involving potential benefits to people. Where multiple systematic reviews or meta-analyses examined overlapping studies, the research was cross-checked to avoid counting the same underlying clinical trials more than once.

This approach provides a more accurate picture of the overall scope of the clinical research—not simply the number of studies selected for presentation on this website.

Our Testimonials and the Clinical Trial Results

While these clinical trials and results often are the result of patients wearing headphones alone, our Biologically Resonant Harmonizer full system is designed to provide a very different form of sound and vibrational stimulation.

Rather than delivering sound through only two speakers positioned at the ears, the BRH full system combines a total of 12 speakers positioned around the body: the Large Pad and Back Pad each contain two full-range speakers and two bass speakers, with 24 crystals—quartz, amethyst and citrine—six crystals surrounding each speaker, while the two Foot Pads provide two additional speakers. Plus an independent Headphone Jack in the  amplifier with its own volume control.

This allows sound and vibration to be delivered simultaneously through multiple areas of the body while sound is also being delivered through the headphones, creating a full-body resonance experience rather than relying solely on auditory stimulation through the ears.

The dramatic effects seen in the personal testimonials on this website have been reported by people using the complete system, while other individuals who have reported significant experiences used only the Large Pad. These testimonials represent the individual experiences of BRH users and are presented separately from the clinical research described above and below.

The breadth of the clinical research provides important scientific context for the experiences reported by BRH users.
